Something tells me you’re going to be restating these goals soon if you do change them to something less intense… You’ve got a direction in mind and you know how to get there… you’re just stopping to enjoy the scenery here and there,

Let's Write a Short Story!) and the blog The Write Practice. It's mostly about tools for creating a group of writers who help each other out (sort of like ROW80, only not so focused on writing goals) and also for getting your work out there successfully. This is the first time Joe has taught this course, and he definitely could make some improvements, but I am learning a lot and meeting some fantastic writers. Like Beth, your idea about breaking down the big goal into smaller goals so you can a) actually see how much work is involved, and therefore b) determine whether it’s realistic appeals to me, too. It also means: more items to cross of the to-do list! I do so love crossing items off the to-do list. =*)

Just checking back in and hoping you are doing well with your writing and all else. I reread your post and admired again how you set your main goal and broke it down into more achievable goals (and measurable!). I’m downsizing a bit too and hope to be more productive by Sunday. Persevere! Persevere!
